at least one part of agony-aunt is undeniably true, going by that. 
I've always wondered if  healing-by-print works. I mean, what happens when x writes to a column asking for help and some advice is tendered? Does anyone actually follow-up to see if it has worked/not worked? I suppose it is x's concern and nobody else's, but still..would be instructive if there were some numbers..</description>
