Non-attachment of the quantum domain
Published by Yazad Jal May 15th, 2005 in HumourTrust the Times of India to give the best Sunday funnies. And I’m not even talking about the comics page. Read this very very funny “agony aunt” box by the “new age guru” Deepak Chopra. I’d never read anything by him before, but going by what he wrote today, I have been converted into a loyal reader.
I feel shy to have desires and have stopped praying for anything except guidance from Spirit. Yet I do have desires. What can I do about them?We are the universe creating from within its own pure potentiality according to what is necessary at that place and time. This is the built-in safety mechanism of creating from the non-attachment of the quantum domain. Whatever manifests from our intention at that level is what cosmic intelligence needs to manifest. We don’t have to worry about whether we should have personal desires or not. We have them anyway, so we might as well use them to free ourself.
Love, Deepak
Yes, the quantum domain is fascinating, isn’t it? You must have read this essay, I’m sure: “Postmodernism Disrobed” by Richard Dawkins.
“We are the universe creating from within its own pure potentiality according to what is necessary at that place and time”
at least one part of agony-aunt is undeniably true, going by that.
I’ve always wondered if healing-by-print works. I mean, what happens when x writes to a column asking for help and some advice is tendered? Does anyone actually follow-up to see if it has worked/not worked? I suppose it is x’s concern and nobody else’s, but still..would be instructive if there were some numbers..
My goodness….. I never realized some one could think this convoluted….
I never understood what he told by the way..
True… this is ReAl funny :-)
had a great laugh at it
