Hey Yazad,

I was actually going to mail you requesting that we hold the next blog-meet at some place other than CCD

Is being an evangelist a bad thing? Well I don't know much of you to be frank, I wasn't even a *regular* reader of your blog - used to visit occassionally.

I've met you only once so far, so I could write about you only from whatever I had seen of you.

And when it comes to explaining ideology, or arguing with a non-libertarian - IMO you do come across as a pretty powerful evangelist.

Just my thoughts ;)

Hey Sidin,
Welcome to Bombay :) Alas, yr big fan is somewhere else. Looking ahead for yr funny posts. You don't have to do anything special for the meet. Just watch some of these blogs for the announcements and join in. I guess it's the last Sun of every month.

look fwd to the day when accounts of Bloggers' meets are posted "live" as they are happening. a videocam, wireless connectivity and an interest in voyeurism is all it would take!

I think we should meet at some non-capitalist place, where one can sit on the green grass, have the salty sea wind blowing through our hair and the incessant chatter of the bloggers. Sounds ideal. How about the Amphitheatre at Bandstand ? Or even the Hillock next to it?

Altaf,

Sameer and I had tried that approach in 2003. We had a bloggers meet at Dadar's Five Gardens. The open space makes it difficult to hear people and voices trail. We decided to go to the Matunga CCD just so that we could be "closer"

How about Juhu Mocha, or the Bandra one for that matter, pretty ideal for large groups.

In his post, A Bloggers Dozen, Yazad asks for the photos of the Bloggers' Meet post.

Well, here they are...

Well, I'm afraid the photos aren't exactly of award-winning quality. They've been clicked using my cameraphone. Also, I'm afraid I...
