The Nobel Foundation’s site has an article explaining the omission. Interesting commentary, more on the Nobel Prize process than on Gandhi’s “suitability.”

the reasons not to award gandhi with nobel prize sounds logical but then applying the logic is simple illgoical…
gandhi doesnt need any nobel prize..he had created his own world..and nobody has achieved anything compareble!
