Doh! I forgot! You were supposed to remind me!
Dear Yazad,
I was there yesterday evening by 3.45 and hanged out till 4.15 or
so. Unfortunately I couldn’t meet any of you. Of course I wouldn’t
have recognized any faces. I was expecting some kind of a poster or so
for the newcomers like me. Perhaps I should have e-mailed to you or
commented here about how to meet you etc, a bit in advance.
I asked one or two tiny groups there about the bloggers meet. None of
them had even heard about blogging! Anyway I had a nice cold coffee
there. Better luck next time.

Bummer! At 3.45 Yazad and I would have been at the corner table outside near the window. At 4.15 Dina would have been with us. We did put up a sort of a notice on our table, but that was much later. Shucks.
Listen, so mail me please, anyone, before the next meet, and I’ll give you my mobile number. (And then turn up one hour late myself? Well …)
And let’s meet at least once a month.

Hey Amit, Maybe you can organise the next meet. If you’d like it to be monthly, how does the last sunday of every month sound? In Feb it’ll be the 27th.
Nice bakra you found. Yes, Ravikiran, this man knows about delegation. But sure, I’ll be willing to take the lead in announcing the thingie, but as I don’t have comments enabled, I think we should all mention it on our respective blogs so that no one misses out. 27th sounds great by me, unless India-Pakistan has begun by then. (Gotta check the schedule.) Remember my day job? ;)
In any case, bloggers can’t wait for one man, and the last Sunday of every month sounds good in principle. Spouses won’t like it, of course, but bloggers come first.
I agree with you on both points. You’re a nice bakra, and I do know a few things about delegation ;)
Don’t worry, we’ll pitch in as well.
