Porn does corrupt impressionable young minds. Like mine. Ooh, I’m so corrupted and it’s all the fault of big bad porn.

Let me ask you a counter question. Would you feel just as violated if a family member willingly acted in a porn film versus someone taking a peephole video of that family member without permission?

1. If he/she was les than 21 years old, I would take him/her to task, since the duty of an elder is to pass on the wisdom of experience.

2. If he/she was >21 years old, I would still object to his/her choice. Simply because, I don’t live in a moral vacuum and I have been raised with a certain set of values which I cannot get away from. We can talk theoretically about liberating values and all that, but its not a dime’s worth if your decision costs you real money (and happiness). Society has its norms and I don’t think it would be wise to perform an act that would make her/him face scorn from the broader populace. Ergo, it will be to her economic disadvantage to act in such a film. So the moral and the economic argument will make me advise her/him strongly to desist.

Btw, the actors and actresses in such films earn very little.

Btw, my statement was provoked more by the fact that people found perverse jjoy in providing links to what is actually an invasion of privacy. An act that I thought was provocative to liberals.

Moral objections are also fine, as long as there is no physical force being used to stop the person (whether it be male or female). Of course if the person wishes to ignore these objections, as an adult, you have to let them do as they wish, however stupid those wishes might be.

The economic argument is irrelevant.
