Great new Thai restaurant in Bangalore
Published by Yazad Jal August 23rd, 2004 in StimulantsIf you’re in Bangalore, please visit Madhu’s new restaurant, Shiok Far-Eastern Cuisine that serves great Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian, and Singaporean food. The restaurant is on CMH Road, Indiranagar, Bangalore.
Madhu also shakes a mean cocktail and runs a super chef’s blog with recipes and tips.
I know all this from personal experience. I have visited Shiok every time I’ve been to Bangalore this year — each trip has been heavenly.

I fact my wife and I were dining at this great Thai restaurant in Singapore when we wondered why there are’nt any good Thai joints in Bangalore. Shiok turned up in that conversation :-)
Looking forward to real tom-yum, phad thai and mention mango/papaya salads. And Chendol for celestial balance.

Darn. I remember, when we had no TV at all. Then came the period of the DD monopoly. Then cable. Makes me seem like an old fogey compared to the young guns out there. :-)

i got very depress while doing my survey
and came to know that we have not even two-three specialized thai restaurant in bangalore, who claim that it is the best spot to dining. really very sad..

come man. unlike delhi, calcutta and mumbai, blore has NO decent eating joints or discs or pubs. complete trash. but i must check this joint. although i don’t have much of a hope, but ok man, if one is living in a trashcan, one has to accept sub standard places also. i love thai. had lots of it in thailand and malaysia.
