How wonderful for EU regulators to decide what kind of tomatoes to eat.
I like Tim Worstall’s sense of humour — like a fine wine: it’s what I call “dry Brit-wit.”
As I’m a good clean living sort of chap I don’t use drugs to cure my insomnia. A quick perusal of Common Regulations normally does […]

Beckham in bed

This is for the football fanatics.
On Tuesday, Britain’s National Portrait Gallery was unveiling a “portrait” of the Real Madrid midfielder, comprising a one hour and seven minute-long video film of him asleep - alone - in a bed.
The film shows a close-up Beckham, naked from the waist up, snoozing directly in front of the camera, […]

My city goes to the polls in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections tomorrow. I saw a banner today claiming that the definition of an idiot is one who does not vote. I was disgusted by the cheap tactic of insult used to goad someone to voting. There are many people for whom the […]

Me on Channel [V]

Channel [V] had invited me to be panellist on their program “Choose or Lose” which was focussed on voting. The other panellists were Nafisa Ali, Milind Deora and Mahesh Bhatt. The program airs tomorrow (Sunday) April 25th at noon (IST).

Fisking Jivha

Jivha doesn’t like Gmail. Worse, he doesn’t like suggestions people make to people who don’t like Gmail. So Jivha goes off on a rant. I’m going to fisk the rant and will leave the Gmail details to others.
Don’t like the fact that lax gun control coupled with high-calibre/assault-style weapons are killing innocent people? Here’s a […]

Restarted Blog

Rejoice! For I have restarted my blog.

New and improved coming up!

Posting has been rather slack AnarCapLib lately. Not to worry — I’m not closing shop. A major content makeover is in the process. I like the current design, so that’s gonna stay.

I have been reading two books - The Blank Slate by Steven Pinker and The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins. Both are related to evolution, though they deal with different topics. A review is forthcoming in the future. (as against forthcoming in the past? -ed.)
Anyway, this post is to announce to the world that I […]
