Aah Outsourcing!

CNN’s Lou Dobbs put out a rogue’s list of American companies which are “exporting America.” James Glassman hits back with an interesting idea — invest in these stocks folks!
And perhaps the US might want to export Dobbs himself. Tech Central Station does take the idea seriously. Here’s a longer list of Americans (except Dobbs, all politicians). Do note it includes both Kerry and Edwards — Democratic front runners for President of the US.
David Carr is thinking of outsourcing the entire British cabinet to India. Whoa!
Well, sitting in India, I just love all this. But seriously, if you’ll must send these jokers here, at least take one of ours. I’m sure Mr. Murli Manohar Joshi would be an asset to Oxford / Cambridge / Harvard.
I would prefer we export Murli Manohar Joshi to Mars. Maybe he can mate with a primitive life form and create a colony there.

Anyways, any economist (real one) asked about the evils of outsourcing just laughs at it. Their theory is simple. Outsourcing has been going on since man became civilized, so why stop it now, suddenly!?
