BureauCrash!

For the last few years, I’ve been a dormant member of Bureaucrash. Some info from their “about us” page.

Bureaucrash is an international network of activists of all political persuasions who believe that bloated, sprawling governments and the bureaucrats and politicians who control them ought to be mocked. Mercilessly.

Why? Because when governments grow, our freedom to live our lives as we see fit shrinks. Every time a new law is passed, some bureaucrat squirreled away in a cubicle somewhere gets more power to make decisions for us. And because the vast majority of people have no idea of the lives and freedoms crushed every time the government’s power grows.

Another reason I really dig them is for thier sense of responsibility.

Listen, Bureaucrashers, we know you’re all grown up, so we’re dealing with you here as the responsible individuals you are. We’re not the nanny-state, and we’re not here to make sure you don’t get into trouble. That’s your responsibility. We do want you to have fun, get creative, and push the envelope of effective personal action. We are not asking you, nor encouraging you to do anything illegal or dangerous. Whenever you decide to take action you should know what you’re getting into, and be prepared to deal with the consequences of your actions, whatever they may be.

And don’t forget to have a look at their fab collection of e-cards.
