The 18th Bharteeya Blog Mela will be hosted here on June 25. An interesting date. Amongst other things, it’s the day when the first patent for barbed wire was taken out (1967, Ohio, US). American history affectionados will remember it the day when the Sioux Indians defeated and killed the army of General George Custer in the Battle of the Little Big Horn.

It’s a George day as well. The Michael of Wham! and the Orwell of Animal Farm were both born on June 25, 60 years apart. OK, enough date trivia. On to the main announcement.
